Garment Description
Hand beaded 'Kingston' artwork embellished , wrap georgette gown.
The dress has a contrast piped black satin wrap front neckline of soft pleated georgette which gently blousons over the waist.
The back bodice of the dress has a self colour ice white satin panel with our signature zig-zag embroidery stitch detailing.
The contrast black satin waist panel is seamed-in to hold the blouson in place and allow for a perfect wear for the customer, without the fabric shifting as you move.
The waist panel extends to form petal ended ties which can be bowed to the back or front side of the dress for closure. There are no buttons or zips, only a thread-through classic wrap tie please note.
The skirt of the dress has vertical panels and godets to give a smooth fit and flare silhouette.
The dress is fully lined in satin to prevent transparency and to give a sumptuously comfortable finish to the wearer.
Artwork Description
The Kingston artwork is a series of beautiful clawed and clasped, recyclable glass diamanté beads in a series of sunray, flower and leaf spray motifs.
On this design, the artwork motifs cascade all over the gown from shoulder to hem.
The design was hand drawn in London and then it is traced onto the fabric which is stretched over wooden looms and hand beaded by skilled artworkers. Only then is it carefully cut and sewn to form the stunning final piece. Craftwork at its finest.
