Artwork Description
Our Sheerwater Hand Bead and Sequin artwork lives up to its name with every sequin, every clawed beaded flower motif, every bugle beaded scalloped edge – every single one, sewn on by hand.
Our love of stripes was reborn into beautiful beaded flowers in striped rows on an opulent bed of sequins. The sequin base itself is sewn in a vintage cluster formation, a far cry from the machined rowed sequins produced en masse.
The scalloped design is based on historic stone archways which preside over the flora and fauna below them.
Our signature contrast panels and piping are extended into the artwork design with velvet shoulder details and our classic zig-zag satin stitched back panel details.
Every one of our Sheerwater pieces take several days to hand bead and sequin at the looms prior to being cut and sewn into the finished garments. This makes every piece unique and as precious as the gemstones which inspired the design.
